On Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th March 10am - 4pm, Henley Street and the Birthplace will be the venue for our fantastic Shakespeare Weekender Event. There will be inspiring recitals of some of Shakespeare's most famous speeches by Events From History, entertaining performances from local primary schools and lively, interactive storytelling sessions.
Fancy something a bit more hands on? From facepainting to dressing up there is something for everyone! Head to our creative spaces where you can design accessories and props for your favourite character - don't forget to strike a pose in our selfie station! You can even make your own puppets and put on a performance in our puppet theatre - which play will you choose?
For our youngest visitors, come and visit our sensory small world play where you can explore some of the settings of Shakespeare's plays in a fun, practical way.
